This famous Eastern fairy tale was told by the well-known German writer Wilhelm Hauff (1802—1827), who lived only 25 years — the shortest lifespan among all storytellers... The tale was illustrated by the talented young graphic artist Rostyslav Popskiy — a new bright star of Ukrainian illustration. Five years ago, he sent some of his drawings to "A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HY," and unexpectedly received a collaboration offer that fundamentally changed the course of the young civil servant's life. Since then, his skill has grown incredibly, especially considering the fact that his only artistic education is a children's art school. What a start to a new fairy tale!
