The proposed publication aims to convey to the general public the most complete, uncensored and prophetic Shevchenko's poetic legacy. The collection is based on the unique, at that time, complete edition of "Kobzar", which was published in the 20s of the last century in Germany under the editorship of the well-known Vasyl Simovych. This "Revived "Kobzar"" became possible thanks to almost ten years of work by the organizer Mykola Zubkov, who attracted a significant number of both original and reprinted works of unengaged Shevchenko scholars (in particular, controversial periodicals from the 20s to the 90s of the last century) and many archival sources, as well as the latest Ukrainian and foreign literary and historical research. About twenty percent of the poems in this collection contain lines that the reader will not find in any other "Kobzarev" - from individual words, phrases to entire pages of the text! Sometimes such restored fragments fundamentally change the perception and understanding of the work as a whole. In addition, many works are submitted with different author's versions of the text.
